Our long-term rehab helps individuals find freedom from addiction and live sustainable, sober lives.
In order to teach and encourage beneficial developments such as improved self-care and healthy coping mechanisms, we offer courses and counseling on parenting, life skills, and anger management.
Following treatment, transitional living gives individuals a sense of structure as they gently return back to their lives at a comfortable pace.
“Addiction is a hard disease to overcome,” says Jai, a recovering alcohol, cocaine and crack addict. “I’m convinced that it’s the spiritual ingredient and the length of the program that makes this rehab approach work.” Jai entered the program in 1996 and has been sober since. He has restored his professional life and repaired what was a very broken marriage. He and his wife have a teenage daughter and are living happily in the suburbs. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope”
“Drugs just took over my life!” Marva began life as a typical young lady – a caring mother with a family she adored and a promising future. It was impossible to imagine the difficult and painful times ahead of her and how WARM (Womens Adult Rehabilitation Ministry) would save her life. Marva now gives back to WARM by serving as an alumni mentor.
Archie says his journey through meth recovery is a love story. In 2002, his sister loved him enough to bring him to ARM ministry. At the time Archie believed there was no hope left for him; that God had turned his back on him. When Archie arrived at ARM, he was defeated, ashamed, and spiritually empty. Today, Archie says he rejoices in his personal relationship with God and is grateful for the grace he feels through his sobriety. Archie appreciates the transparency and authenticity of ARM’s director, mentors and volunteers to show that God loves unconditionally. “Today and everyday, I long for his presence. I now understand, I’m more than a sinner, I am a child of God”
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
The first step is always the hardest, but most rewarding. ARM Dallas is here when you’re ready to make a change.
